Responsible for providing exceptional service to customers visiting the gelateria. This involves interacting with customers, taking orders, offering recommendations on flavors and products, and ensuring an overall positive experience for all visitors. Additionally, the Gelateria Customer Service Representative must serve ice cream, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to quality standards. Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Accurately and efficiently take orders.
  • Offer recommendations on flavors and products.
  • Prepare and serve ice cream and desserts according to gelateria standards.
  • Accurately and securely process payments using the gelateria's point of sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the service area, including cleaning tables, chairs, and equipment.
  • Replenish product supplies and service materials as needed.
  • Communicate any customer issues or concerns to the appropriate manager or supervisor.
  • Comply with all health and food safety regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training on new products and procedures.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the food or restaurant industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of customers.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive and service-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic math skills for processing payments and handling transactions.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and order at all times.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
