An attractive beach in the south of Lima, with fine white and coarse sand, surrounded by residential constructions. It appeals to both surfers and visitors seeking to enjoy its cool waters and surf-friendly sea. In addition to its surfing environment, the fertile sea of Señoritas attracts local fishermen and spearfishing enthusiasts.
Famous among surfers for its left-handed Reef-Break waves, tall and tubular, this destination has been the venue for prestigious championships and exhibitions, including the ISA World Surfing Games in 2010. Its waves, up to three meters high, are ideal for intermediate and advanced surfers, but their undertow can pose a challenge.
For a long time, there was confusion between Señoritas and Caballeros due to differences between the name of the beach and the wave in front of it. However, it is now defined: the large beach is Señoritas and the small one is Caballeros.
