This beach is known for its breaks:
- Norte Beach: It offers excellent medium-sized waves that break to the right, depending on the swell.
- El Paso: A powerful right-hand wave with a lot of foam requires skill and caution due to its proximity to rocks on the coast.
- Pico Alto: About 800 meters offshore, it is the largest wave in Peru, reaching between 8 and 10 meters. It is internationally recognized and hosts the World Big Wave Tour.
