Almas del Mar is an association committed to providing a transformative experience to people with disabilities or special abilities through Adaptive Surfing. Under the direction of the passionate teacher Piero Marotta, Almas del Mar becomes a haven where the waves are not only challenges overcome but also a source of freedom.
This association was born more than 15 years ago as a result of an accident that changed the life of Pancho Arbulú, who has proudly represented Peru several times in the ISA Adaptive Surfing World Championship. His personal experience became the driving force behind Almas del Mar, where surfing stops being a sport to become a form of therapy and rehabilitation for those with special abilities.
In each class, Piero Marotta and his team share their love for surfing, creating a space where limitations disappear and freedom is manifested in each wave. The connection between the ocean and people with disabilities becomes a powerful tool for empowerment and overcoming challenges.
Almas del Mar not only teaches how to ride waves, but also how to break barriers and discover new possibilities in the sea.
